As part of the event, there will be an online auction with a number of different prizes including nights, golf trips and restaurant vouchers.

The auction ends at 10 p.m. on May 5 and can be entered here.

In the evening, you can enjoy “Odessa meatballs”, artisan bread and a fresh green salad with “Yabluko Kak”, an apple cake, for dessert.

A spokesperson for the event said: “It is heartwarming that the community of Marlow has come together in support of the Ukrainian people and welcoming Ukrainian families.

“This would not have been possible without ‘The Marlow Ukraine Collective’ who work tirelessly to help Ukrainians coming to the UK obtain visas and connect them with suitable families in the Marlow area.

“We are fortunate to be joined by two young women, recently arrived from war-torn Ukraine, as well as two hosts, one of whom will be giving a talk on this successful and valuable project.”
