His “Filthy” garlic bread recipe doesn’t actually contain any bread, but you’ll need to head to Trader Joe’s to stock up on a few must-have ingredients.
The star of this show is Trader Joe’s Galic Bread Cheese. It is a soft baked cow’s milk cheese seasoned with garlic powder. And no, this cheese does not contain bread either!
“It can be cooked like halloumi cheese and it’s packed with a lovely garlicky flavor,” Natasha wrote in a recent Instagram post announcing the beloved cheese’s return. “It’s a firm cheese that retains its firmness and becomes softer when pan-fried or grilled. Garnish it on a salad or enjoy it on a slice of baguette.
You’ll also need a package of Trader Joe’s hash browns to make Natasha’s Dirty Garlic Bread, as well as any other toppings you think are delicious. Natasha used TJ’s Crunchy Chili Onion, but said the bruschetta would also taste divine.
Fry your cheese and toss your hash browns in the air fryer, and when it’s all hot, toss it all together, lightly toast and get ready to taste the magic.
The result “could be a heart attack in the making,” Natasha said, but the taste is amazing. One reviewer noted that this dish would be even better for breakfast with an egg on top. Just thinking about it makes our mouths water.
