If you love to cook as much as I do, you’re probably very excited when you spot a new dessert or recipe that you want to try. Whether it’s something for your backyard barbecue or a relaxing poolside party, summer is full of sweet moments ready to be matched with treats. But of course, every season has its own demands, and the warmer months usually look for something lighter and more fruity but just as decadent. Enter: Strawberry bread. This easy recipe is quick to assemble and will make your mouth water just the sight of it.

What I learned when assembling is that you can play off the lines a bit and get creative with the hitter. While I stuck with a traditional loaf of bread as the recipe calls for, I also put some of the leftovers in cupcake molds to try a different shape (add a strawberry frosting to really pass it up. things to the next level!). Disclaimer: The only thing that takes time is chopping all the strawberries, so if you’re in a rush, do this part ahead of time or turn it into a group activity. Then get ready to see it all disappear.
