Breakfasts are the most important meals of the day. After the hours gap after dinner, we all look forward to breakfast. While the confusion over how to prepare healthy and tasty breakfasts has us thinking about what to do, here is an easy banana bread recipe that can be followed to make the meal even more interesting. With the goodness of banana and nuts mixed together, it can be served with milk at the breakfast table to make morning conversations with the family more interesting.

Chef Kunal Kapu shared a super easy banana nut bread recipe on his Instagram profile a few days ago and it makes us want to try the dish right away. Take a look at the recipe here:

Ingredients:

5nos (peeled about 400g) Banana (medium)

180g (¾ cup + 2 tbsp) sugar

180 g (¾ cup) curd

60 g (¼ cup) oil/melted butter

2 tsp vanilla extract

180 g (1½ cups) flour (all purpose)

2g (½ tsp) baking powder

2 g (½ tsp) baking soda

10g (1 tbsp) ground cinnamon

a handful of walnuts (chopped)

1 sheet of butter paper

LxBxH :: Baking pan 9″x4.5″x4″

Method:

Add the peeled bananas to the blender grinder along with the sugar, curd, oil and vanilla extract. Make a fine puree and set aside. Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon powder and add the mashed banana to the mixture and continue mixing until there are no lumps. Also add some nuts. Line the mold with parchment paper and pour the batter into the mold. Slice bananas and fill the dough. Also add some nuts for decoration. Preheat the oven or OTG to 180°C for 15 minutes. Place the pan and bake the banana bread for about 55-60 minutes. Once it’s cooked through, take it out of the mound and let it cool for about 3-4 minutes. Slice and serve.
