Grandma’s Easy Pineapple Bread Recipe Is Incredibly Moist | Bread/Muffins


Who doesn’t remember grandma taking a warm, sweet loaf of bread out of the oven? From date bread and banana bread to gingerbread, lemon poppyseed and chocolate, sweet dessert bread comes in all varieties.

This easy pineapple bread recipe gets its moisture from crushed pineapple. The bread is so moist it doesn’t need icing. Serve with a cup of coffee or tea for dessert or as a snack.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Beat the butter and sugar together with a electric mixer. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until well blended. Stir in pineapple.
  2. In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  3. Pour the batter into a 9 x 5 inch pan bread pan that has been sprayed with nonstick cooking spray. Bake in preheated 350 degree F oven for about 1 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool for about 10 minutes before unmolding to cool completely.
