The visual, directed by Pablo Rochat, is inspired by old horror films. It includes footage of zombies and talking dolls, murder scenes, and grainy security camera clips of the three rappers wielding large kitchen knives.
Some bars of the track are lifted from the lines of Pat on Juicy Jthe 2017 song, “Feed the Streets”. “I have to feed the streets, my gun will bleed in the streets / Ski mask on my face, sometimes you have to cheat / To stay ahead (Gang) in that asshole, I drank syrup like his liquor / Life street, I make you catch up with God faster, “he recalls.

âKnife Talkâ is one track from Drake’s sixth studio album, âCertified Lover Boy,â which arrived on September 3rd. Later that month, Pat revealed that the song was “supposed to be on the 21 Savage album.”
In an interview with 360 Plug Hype, Pat revealed, âReally man, that was a track that was done and Metro Boomin, that’s my guy too, he plugged it in. He had the track, he was supposed to. go to the 21 Savage album but it didn’t work. ” He added, “And then Drake got it, man, and he gave me that Drake blessing.”
In addition to “Knife Talk”, Drake’s latest record includes 20 other tracks that feature collaborations with little baby, Lil durk, Overlook, Jay Z, Travis Scott (II), Terms, Lil wayne, Rick Ross and Kid cudi. Nicki Minaj‘s backing vocals are also featured on the album’s “Papi’s Home”.
