This easy four-ingredient whole wheat bread recipe is incredibly warm right out of the oven. Store uneaten bread in an airtight container. Use it for toast or sandwiches.

Here’s how to do it:

  1. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix maple syrup or honey and water in a bowl. Add to dry ingredients. Mix well (it will be sticky).
  3. Put the dough in a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan which was aligned with parchment. Let the dough rise for 20 minutes.
  4. Bake in preheated 400 degree F oven for about 35-40 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
